Delhi Declares Holiday for Schools, Colleges and Offices Ahead of G-20 Submit

preparation for the G20 summit scheduled for September 9th and 10th in Delhi, stringent security measures have been put in place as foreign delegations have begun arriving. The Union Government had previously declared a holiday for its offices on these dates. Now, the Delhi state government has taken a significant step by announcing a holiday for all schools, colleges, and offices in Delhi from September 8th to 10th. Additionally, from the 8th to the 10th, only essential vehicles from other states will be permitted, and various restrictions have been imposed, including increased vehicle inspections. Over 1 lakh army and paramilitary personnel are actively engaged in surveillance efforts to ensure a secure environment for the summit.
