District Governor Visited and Inspect Women’s Rights Award Program Progress in Kanchipuram

Today (12.09.2023) district Governor Mrs. Kalaiaselvi Mohan A.P visited and inspected the works being carried out at the place where the Kalaignar’s women’s Rights scheme project is to be held. Tamilnadu chief minister M.K Stalin is scheduled to hold a discussion on the Kalaignar’s Women’s Rights Scheme on September 15th at 10:00 AM in Kanchipuram district, coinciding with the birth anniversary of the revered leader, Anna. The project will be launched at Pachaiyappas Men’s College ground. During the ceremony, special attention was directed towards the provision of parking spaces for both visitors to and from the venue, as well as the designated parking areas for important dignitaries. The official overseeing the event engaged with officials to inquire about the facilities available for parking, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic and convenience for all attendees. Additionally, as discussions ensued regarding the accessibility of basic amenities such as drinking water, food, and sanitation facilities, underlining the commitment to providing a comfortable and accommodating experience for all participants. The District Collector inspected beneficiary arrivals, seating arrangements. District Revenue Officer Mr. S. Venkatesh, Public Works Executive Engineer Mr. Siva Shanmugasundaram, Kanchipuram Corporation Commissioner Mr. Kannan and government officials were present.
