Kerala State Health Department Issues Face Shield Mandate Amid Nipah Virus Concerns

In response to the Nipah virus outbreak in Kozhikode, the Kerala State Health Department has issued crucial guidelines for public safety. They are advising the general public to wear face shields as a preventive measure. Additionally, the health department is urging hospital staff to done Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to minimize the risk of transmission. To streamline efforts against the Nipah virus, the Kerala Health Department has taken a proactive approach by establishing 16 committees dedicated to coordinating and implementing various measures to combat the virus effectively.
