Chennai Meteorological Center Predicts Rainfall Across 8 Tamil Nadu Districts in Next 3 Hours

The Chennai Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating the likelihood of rain in eight districts of Tamil Nadu over the next three hours. Anticipating heavy rainfall, Pudukottai, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, and Thoothukudi are expected to be affected. Additionally, the Meteorological Department predicts heavy rain in Tenkasi, Nellai, and Kumari districts. Chennai is poised for light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in certain areas for the next two days. Furthermore, a warning has been issued for potential cyclonic winds over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea on November 14. Consequently, there is a prospect of rain in the aforementioned eight districts in Tamil Nadu over the next three hours. Specifically, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Thenkasi, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Theni, and Dindigul may experience light to moderate rainfall during this period.
