Supreme Court Dismisses 2018 Money Laundering Case Against Karnataka Deputy CM Shivakumar

The Supreme Court of India, on Tuesday, dismissed a money laundering probe against Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. Shivakumar, a Congress leader, had appealed to the apex court after the Karnataka High Court declined to quash the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons issued to him in connection with an alleged case of money laundering. Justices Surya Kant and K V Viswanathan presiding over the bench granted relief to Shivakumar.
