PM Modi to Visit Srinagar on March 7th for Official Jammu and Kashmir Trip

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Kashmir Valley on March 7th, his first trip since Article 370’s abrogation in August 2019. Expected to announce development projects and meet with national scheme beneficiaries, the Bakshi Stadium will host due to expected high turnout. Despite decreased separatist activities, education and tourism have thrived, and businesses run smoothly. The PM’s target of 370 BJP seats reflects peace in J&K. While plans for a rally in Anantnag are uncertain, anticipation surrounds Modi’s visit for potential development announcements. Earlier, he inaugurated projects worth ₹32,000 crore in Jammu, lauding L-G Manoj Sinha’s efforts. The Pahari community, after a 50-year wait, showed gratitude for being granted Scheduled Tribe (ST) status.
