Friday Set for Issuing Appointment Orders to 1,196 Nurses

Health Minister M. Subramanian announced that the Medical Recruitment Board has filled 1,196 nurse vacancies in the state, with appointment orders set to be issued on Friday. Additionally, 1,021 doctors and 977 MRB nurses who served during the Covid-19 period have already been appointed. Over the last 20 days, 332 laboratory technicians were also recruited. Identified vacancies for 483 contract nurses will be converted to permanent positions, with 713 additional nurse vacancies filled and appointment orders to be issued at the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University.
