Farmers Vow to Continue Protest Until Demands Met at Punjab-Haryana Border

Farmers camping at the border points of Punjab and Haryana, led by farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher, declared on Thursday that they will continue their agitation until their demands are met. Spearheaded by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha and the Kisan Mukti Morcha, the ongoing ‘Delhi Chalo’ march seeks government acceptance of demands, including a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP). Since February 13th, protesting farmers from Punjab have maintained camps at the Shambhu and Khanauri border points after security forces halted their march towards Delhi.
