Petrol pump strike in Assam postponed for two days

The planned petrol pump strike in parts of Assam, set to start on Saturday morning, has been deferred, announced a leader of the North East India Petroleum Dealers’ Association (Greater Guwahati Unit). The strike, which aimed for ‘no purchase no sale’ from 5 am on Saturday until 5 am on Monday, was called off amidst demands including the long-pending revision of dealers’ commission since 2017.
