Pakistan’s National Assembly Session Scheduled for Today

The National Assembly session is scheduled to convene on Monday at 4:00 pm in Islamabad’s Parliament House, focusing on discussions of national and international significance, including issues like smuggling and steel imports. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will present the July-December 2021 report on the implementation of the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award. Moreover, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has finalized arrangements for the upcoming nationwide Senate elections on April 2nd, with distinctive ballot papers printed in four colors denoting different seat categories. Transportation of election materials to returning officers has been completed, ensuring a smooth electoral process, with the final list of candidates for the 48 vacant Senate seats already issued.
