Two Men Arrested for Plotting and Planting Bomb at Bengaluru Cafe

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended key suspects Mussavir Hussain Shazeb and Abdul Matheen Taha in the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case, with Shazeb planting the explosive device and Taha accused of planning and aiding their escape, while Muzammil Shareef was arrested earlier. The NIA located them in Kolkata under false identities, leading to their detention through a joint operation with multiple state police forces. The blast left ten injured, prompting a widespread search for suspects aided by CCTV footage. The agency offered a ₹10 lakh reward for each arrest and interrogated acquaintances. Despite damage, the cafe resumed operations with enhanced security measures, as co-founder Raghavendra Rao outlined plans to further strengthen security by involving ex-servicemen in staff training.
