“Vote and Enjoy Free Butter Dosa”: Bengaluru Restaurants Boost Voter Turnout

In Bengaluru, long queues formed outside restaurants on Friday as they offered free dosas, laddu, coffee, and other items to customers who cast their vote in the Lok Sabha polls. This initiative, spearheaded by the Bruhath Bangalore Hotels Association (BBHA), aimed to incentivize voting in the city. Several eateries affiliated with BBHA provided food either for free or at discounted rates to encourage participation in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, particularly in Karnataka’s 14 out of 28 constituencies, including Bangalore South, Central, North, and Rural.
