President Draupadi Murmu’s Ayodhya Ram Temple Visit Set for May 1st

President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to Ayodhya on Wednesday for prayers at the Ram temple is anticipated, with temple authorities confirming unregulated movement for devotees, except during her prayer session. The queue system will operate as usual, ensuring ‘darshan’ proceeds on schedule. Scheduled to arrive around 4 p.m. via special plane, President Murmu will be escorted to the temple complex through the VIP gate, accompanied by her cavalcade and security personnel. Her visit, expected to last nearly three hours, will be welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Traffic diversions along the Lucknow-Ayodhya-Gorakhpur national highway and the route from Ayodhya airport to Ram Path will be implemented, while preparations for the evening ‘aarti’ at the Saryu riverbanks are underway. Despite awaiting the detailed program, Ram Temple trust member Anil Mishra assures minimal disruption to devotees during the visit. Queue regulation will occur briefly upon dignitaries’ arrival, with officials and security personnel briefed to ensure the President’s cavalcade moves seamlessly, as noted by Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal.
