Bomb Threats Target Over 50 Schools in Delhi-NCR; Authorities Investigate

More than 50 schools in Delhi-NCR received bomb threat emails on Wednesday morning, leading to the evacuation of students, as confirmed by Delhi Education Minister Atishi. Schools including Mother Mary School, Delhi Public School branches, Amity International School, and Sanskriti School were affected, prompting thorough searches by Delhi Police. The bomb detection and disposal teams, along with Delhi Fire Service, were deployed for searches, suspecting a single individual behind the threats. Authorities are investigating the origin of the emails and suspect the use of VPN to conceal the sender’s identity. This incident follows a similar threat received by Chacha Nehru Hospital in Delhi, and recent bomb threats at various airports. Delhi Public School branches have previously faced similar hoax threats, underscoring concerns over security protocols.
