Enforcement Department Seeks Delhi Court Permission to Record Statements of 5, Including Jaffer Sadiq

The Enforcement Department has petitioned the Delhi Special Court to record statements from five individuals, including Zafar Sadiq, regarding a drug trafficking case. The request seeks permission to interrogate them for three days, with plans to visit Tihar Jail and bring laptops to facilitate the process. The case involves the smuggling of drugs worth ₹2000 crore to countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia. Those implicated include jaffer Sadiq, Sadanandam, Mujipur, Mukesh, and Ashokumar, with a charge sheet filed by the Central Narcotics Control Unit.
