IMD Issues Yellow Alert for High Temperatures in Kerala’s 12 Districts Until May 6th

The India Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for 12 out of 14 districts in Kerala, warning of high temperatures and humidity until May 6th. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach around 39 degrees Celsius in Palakkad and 38 degrees Celsius in several other districts. The IMD cautioned of hot and humid weather in these districts, excluding hilly areas, due to the prevailing high temperature and humidity conditions.
