DSLSA Launches ‘Project Saksham’ in Delhi, Aims to Rehabilitate Undertrials with Skills Training

In New Delhi, the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) launched ‘Project Saksham’ on Tuesday, aimed at reshaping the lives of undertrials and facilitating their reintegration into society. In collaboration with Max Healthcare Foundation, the initiative provides skills training to individuals within Tihar Jail, marking a significant effort in India towards rehabilitation. Manmohan, acting chief justice of Delhi High Court and executive chairperson of DSLSA, emphasized the program’s focus on addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by undertrial accused persons.
