Indian Nationals Face Homicide Charges in Canadian Court for Killing Khalistan Separatist

Three Indian nationals, residents of Edmonton, appeared before a Canadian court via video for the first time on Tuesday, facing homicide charges for the killing of Khalistan separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar last year. Karan Brar (22), Kamalpreet Singh (22), and Karanpreet Singh (28) were arrested and charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. The trio, believed to be part of an alleged hit squad, made their appearance before the Surrey Provincial Court in British Columbia province amidst a gathering of hundreds of local Khalistan supporters at the courthouse.
