Three Independent MLAs Withdraw Support from BJP, Haryana Government Left in Minority

In a significant political development in Haryana, three Independent MLAs withdrew their support from the BJP government and announced their backing for the Congress in Chandigarh on Tuesday. This move effectively reduced the Nayab Singh Saini-led government to a minority in the state assembly, as it now falls two seats short of the majority mark in the 90-member House, currently with a strength of 88. While the BJP still holds 40 seats, the Congress has 30, and the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), despite pulling out of the coalition government in March, has 10 seats. The situation remains fluid as some JJP MLAs have indicated potential support for the BJP in recent days.
