Gehlot Slams Election Commission’s Response to Kharge’s Concerns, Citing Bias

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticized the Election Commission’s response to a letter from Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge regarding delays in releasing voter turnout figures for the first two poll phases, deeming it “completely inappropriate and unwarranted.” The commission, in its reply, accused Kharge of pushing a biased narrative. Gehlot expressed concern over the commission’s language, stating it resembled that of a political party rather than a constitutional institution, suggesting bias in favor of one party during the elections.
