Chennai-Singapore Flight Delayed by Technical Snag, Departs After Three-Hour Wait

A Chennai-Singapore flight was delayed on Tuesday night due to a technical snag. The Singapore Airlines flight, carrying 320 passengers, was scheduled to depart at 11:15 PM, but the pilot detected the issue just before boarding and informed ATC, causing passengers to wait in the hall. The fault was fixed, and the flight departed at 2:47 AM, three hours late. This caution followed a directive from Singapore Airlines officials after a London-bound flight encountered severe turbulence, resulting in one death and 23 injuries earlier on Tuesday.
