Jharkhand Minister Alamgir Alam’s ED Remand Extended by Five Days in PMLA Case

The Special PMLA court in Ranchi extended the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) remand of Jharkhand Minister Alamgir Alam for five more days on Wednesday in connection with an alleged money laundering case, according to lawyers. Alam was arrested on May 15th after two days of questioning by the ED. Initially, he was remanded to ED custody for six days starting from May 17th, following a court order on May 16th.
