Fire Erupts at Chennai Airport’s ATC Building, Quickly Doused with No Damage Reported

A fire broke out on the third floor of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) building at the airport early Thursday, but officials reported no damage. Suspected to be caused by a short circuit in an area used for storing old articles, Fire and Rescue Services personnel swiftly responded, dispatching fire tenders from Ashok Nagar and Guindy to douse the flames, which were quickly extinguished.
