Search Underway for Caller Issuing Death Threat to PM Modi from NIA Office in Chennai

State cyber sleuths are pursuing an unidentified Hindi-speaking individual who threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a call to the NIA office in Chennai on Wednesday night. The call, made around 9:30 pm to the NIA office in Purusaiwakkam, issued a death threat to the PM before disconnecting. Originating from Madhya Pradesh, the incident prompted the Chennai NIA unit to inform counterparts in North India and state cybercrime officials for further investigation.
