CRPF Officer Commits Suicide at Coimbatore Airport Due to Family Issues

A 34-year-old Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer, identified as Sahardar from Andhra Pradesh, fatally shot himself with his AK-47 at Coimbatore International Airport on Tuesday. Deployed at the passenger exit point, Sahardar went to the washroom where he ended his life. Other CRPF officers, alerted by the gunshot, found him in a pool of blood and rushed him to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital, where he was declared dead. Preliminary investigations by the Peelamedu police suggest that family issues led to his suicide, with further enquiries ongoing.
