Ashwini Vaishnaw Takes Charge as India’s New Information and Broadcasting Minister

Ashwini Vaishnaw has become the new Information and Broadcasting Minister in New Delhi, succeeding Anurag Singh Thakur. He is the 35th leader to hold this position since Independence. Vaishnaw, who also manages Railways and Electronics and Information Technology, assumed office in the presence of senior officials, including I&B Secretary Sanjay Jaju.
