Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects worth over ₹7,200 crore in Sangareddy, approximately 60 km from Hyderabad. Reiterating his commitment to Telangana’s progress, he emphasized the vital role of states’ development in national growth and highlighted the significance of modern infrastructure for India’s advancement, referencing the allocation of ₹11 lakh crore towards infrastructure in the recent budget. Modi aimed for Telangana to maximize benefits from this investment and noted ongoing efforts to elevate the state’s development, including projects worth ₹56,000 crore in Adilabad. The event also saw the inauguration and foundation laying of multiple projects across various sectors, such as road, rail, petroleum, and natural gas, including the Civil Aviation Research Organisation center, National Highway projects, rail line electrification, and the Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline, ensuring safe petroleum transportation across states.
