Congress MP Criticizes Puducherry Home Minister for Drug Menace Failures

In Puducherry, V Vaithilingam, President of the Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee, criticized territorial Home Minister A Namassivayam for purportedly failing to address the drug menace in the union territory. Speaking at a virtual press conference, Vaithilingam, also the Lok Sabha Member from Puducherry, highlighted the recent murder of a minor girl as evidence of the havoc caused by drug peddlers. He accused individuals associated with Namassivayam of engaging in narcotics trade in Puducherry, alleging complicity with the police.
